### sec.125 When authorised officer ceases to hold office
An authorised officer ceases to hold office if any of the following happens—
the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office;
the authorised officer’s resignation takes effect.
Subsection (1) does not limit the ways an authorised officer may cease to hold office.
In this section—
condition of office means a condition on which the authorised officer holds office.
(sec.125-ssec.1) An authorised officer ceases to hold office if any of the following happens— the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office; the authorised officer’s resignation takes effect.
(sec.125-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not limit the ways an authorised officer may cease to hold office.
(sec.125-ssec.3) In this section— condition of office means a condition on which the authorised officer holds office.
- (a) the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
- (b) under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office;
- (c) the authorised officer’s resignation takes effect.
