### sec.60I Vacation of office
A member of the board is taken to have vacated office as a member if the member—
resigns by signed notice of resignation given to the Minister; or
under this part, can not continue to be a member; or
is absent without the board’s permission from 3 consecutive meetings of the board of which proper notice has been given; or
is absent, in any period of 6 months, and without the board’s permission, from all meetings of the board of which proper notice has been given.
If the member attends for a meeting of which proper notice is given, but for which a quorum is not present, the meeting is nevertheless taken to be a meeting at which the member was present.

- (a) resigns by signed notice of resignation given to the Minister; or
- (b) under this part, can not continue to be a member; or
- (c) is absent without the board’s permission from 3 consecutive meetings of the board of which proper notice has been given; or
- (d) is absent, in any period of 6 months, and without the board’s permission, from all meetings of the board of which proper notice has been given.
