### sec.301I Notice of declaration
As soon as practicable after a temporary detention centre declaration is made, the chief executive must—
publish the declaration on the department’s website; and
publish notice of the declaration in the gazette.
However, if the declaration can not, for technical or other reasons, be conveniently published on the department’s website, it must be published—
in another way decided by the chief executive; and
on the department’s website as soon as practicable.
Failure to comply with subsection (1) (b) does not invalidate the declaration.

(sec.301I-ssec.1) As soon as practicable after a temporary detention centre declaration is made, the chief executive must— publish the declaration on the department’s website; and publish notice of the declaration in the gazette.
