### sec.713 Particular WorkCover contracts covering volunteers This section applies to a contract of insurance entered into with WorkCover for chapter 1, part 4, division 3, subdivision 1 that— was in force at any time during the transitional period; and covered a volunteer firefighter. The contract is taken to have covered the payment of damages to a specified volunteer firefighter who, during the transitional period, sustained an injury that was a specified disease. In this section— introduction day means the day the Bill for the amendment Act was introduced into the Legislative Assembly. transitional period means the period starting on the introduction day and ending on the date of assent of the amendment Act. s 713 ins 2015 No. 13 s 20 (retro) (sec.713-ssec.1) This section applies to a contract of insurance entered into with WorkCover for chapter 1, part 4, division 3, subdivision 1 that— was in force at any time during the transitional period; and covered a volunteer firefighter.
