### sec.529 Power to seize evidence etc.
An authorised person who enters a place under this part, other than under a search warrant, may seize anything, including a document, at the place if the authorised person reasonably believes the thing is evidence of an offence against this Act.
An authorised person who enters a place with a search warrant may seize the evidence for which the warrant was issued.
An authorised person who enters a place with a search warrant may also seize anything else at the place if the authorised person reasonably believes—
the thing is evidence of an offence against this Act; and
the seizure is necessary to prevent the thing being hidden, lost or destroyed or used to continue or repeat the offence.

(sec.529-ssec.2) An authorised person who enters a place with a search warrant may seize the evidence for which the warrant was issued.
(sec.529-ssec.3) An authorised person who enters a place with a search warrant may also seize anything else at the place if the authorised person reasonably believes— the thing is evidence of an offence against this Act; and the seizure is necessary to prevent the thing being hidden, lost or destroyed or used to continue or repeat the offence.
- (a) the thing is evidence of an offence against this Act; and
- (b) the seizure is necessary to prevent the thing being hidden, lost or destroyed or used to continue or repeat the offence.
