### sec.382 Relationship with State
WorkCover represents the State.
Without limiting subsection (1) , every WorkCover policy or other insurance contract with WorkCover is guaranteed by the government of the State.
If WorkCover is unable to pay from a fund under its control an amount payable by WorkCover under a policy or contract guaranteed under subsection (2) , the amount is to be paid out of consolidated fund to WorkCover.
The consolidated fund is appropriated for the amount.
(sec.382-ssec.1) WorkCover represents the State.
(sec.382-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , every WorkCover policy or other insurance contract with WorkCover is guaranteed by the government of the State.
(sec.382-ssec.3) If WorkCover is unable to pay from a fund under its control an amount payable by WorkCover under a policy or contract guaranteed under subsection (2) , the amount is to be paid out of consolidated fund to WorkCover.
