### sec.295 Compliance necessary before starting proceeding The claimant may start a proceeding in a court for damages only if the claimant has complied with— the relevant division under part 2 , to the extent the division imposes a requirement on the person; and part 5 , other than as provided by sections 297 and 298 ; and part 6 ; and section 296 . - (a) the relevant division under part 2 , to the extent the division imposes a requirement on the person; and - (b) part 5 , other than as provided by sections 297 and 298 ; and - (c) part 6 ; and - (d) section 296 .
