### sec.232J Meaning of treatment, care and support needs
The treatment, care and support needs , of a worker who has sustained an injury, are the worker’s needs for, or relating to, 1 or more of the following resulting from the injury—
medical treatment;
hospitalisation;
dental treatment;
rehabilitation;
ambulance transportation;
respite care;
attendant care and support services;
aids and appliances, other than ordinary personal or household items;
an air conditioner, a laptop, linen, a mobile phone, a personal computer or a washing machine
prosthesis;
education or vocational training;
home, transport or workplace modification.

- (a) medical treatment;
- (b) hospitalisation;
- (c) dental treatment;
- (d) rehabilitation;
- (e) ambulance transportation;
- (f) respite care;
- (g) attendant care and support services;
- (h) aids and appliances, other than ordinary personal or household items; Examples of ordinary personal or household items— an air conditioner, a laptop, linen, a mobile phone, a personal computer or a washing machine
- (i) prosthesis;
- (j) education or vocational training;
- (k) home, transport or workplace modification.
