### sec.218A Cost of hospitalisation
The costs for which an insurer is liable for hospitalisation of a worker as an in-patient at a public hospital are—
the cost for the provision of the facility at a public hospital where a procedure is carried out; and
the cost of medical treatment provided at the hospital.
The insurer must pay the cost of hospitalisation and medical treatment, whether the hospitalisation is provided at 1 time or at different times.
The insurer must pay the cost of hospitalisation that is published by WorkCover by gazette notice.
In fixing a cost of hospitalisation to be published under subsection (3) , WorkCover must consult with self-insurers.
