### sec.208 Objects of ch 4
The objects of this chapter are to ensure—
injured workers receive appropriate medical treatment, hospitalisation and rehabilitation; and
workers who have sustained psychiatric or psychological injuries receive support as early as possible; and
workers who have sustained physical injuries and who are at risk of sustaining a psychiatric or psychological injury arising from the physical injury receive services to minimise the risk.

- (a) injured workers receive appropriate medical treatment, hospitalisation and rehabilitation; and
- (b) workers who have sustained psychiatric or psychological injuries receive support as early as possible; and
- (c) workers who have sustained physical injuries and who are at risk of sustaining a psychiatric or psychological injury arising from the physical injury receive services to minimise the risk.
