### sec.144B When payment of medical treatment, hospitalisation and expenses stops
The entitlement of a worker to the payment of medical treatment, hospitalisation and expenses under chapter 4 for an injury stops when—
the entitlement of the worker to weekly payments of compensation under part 9 stops; and
medical treatment by a registered person is no longer required for the management of the injury because the injury is not likely to improve with further medical treatment or hospitalisation.
Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to section 220 or part 5A .

(sec.144B-ssec.1) The entitlement of a worker to the payment of medical treatment, hospitalisation and expenses under chapter 4 for an injury stops when— the entitlement of the worker to weekly payments of compensation under part 9 stops; and medical treatment by a registered person is no longer required for the management of the injury because the injury is not likely to improve with further medical treatment or hospitalisation.
(sec.144B-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to section 220 or part 5A .
- (a) the entitlement of the worker to weekly payments of compensation under part 9 stops; and
- (b) medical treatment by a registered person is no longer required for the management of the injury because the injury is not likely to improve with further medical treatment or hospitalisation.
