### sec.81 Collectors to keep register
A licensed collector must keep at the premises stated in the licence a collection register.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units or 6 months imprisonment.
A licensed collector must, for each transaction for the receipt, acquisition, sale or transfer of a weapon, enter immediately in the collection register the particulars prescribed under a regulation.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units or 6 months imprisonment.
A person must not remove a part of the collections register, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.

Subsection (3) does not prevent the correction of the collections register in a way specified under a regulation.
In this section—
collection register means a book in the approved form bound to the satisfaction of an authorised officer.
remove includes make illegible or unintelligible, erase or disguise.
