### sec.352HB Assessment by local government
If a local government is given a copy of an emergency action plan under section 352HA (a) , the local government must assess the emergency action plan for consistency with its disaster management plan.
In assessing the emergency action plan, the local government must consult with its local group for the plan.
The local government must, within 30 business days after receiving the emergency action plan, give the owner of the dam a notice stating—
whether the local government considers the plan is consistent with its disaster management plan; and
if it considers the plan is not consistent with its disaster management plan, the reasons why it considers the plan is not consistent.
The owner of the dam may prepare a written response to the notice (a notice response ) and attach it to the notice.
