### sec.989 Time limits for deciding and advising on claims
The chief executive must decide each claim for compensation within 60 business days after the day the claim is made.
The chief executive must, within 10 business days after the day the claim is decided—
give the claimant an information notice; and
if the decision is to pay compensation—advise in the notice the amount of the compensation to be paid.
(sec.989-ssec.1) The chief executive must decide each claim for compensation within 60 business days after the day the claim is made.
