### sec.983 Deciding application for water bore driller’s licence
If the chief executive is satisfied the application should be granted, or granted in part, the chief executive must grant the application.
If the chief executive is not satisfied the application should be granted, the chief executive must refuse the application.
Within 30 business days after deciding to grant all or part of the application, the chief executive must give the applicant a water bore driller’s licence in the approved form—
for a particular class of licence; and
with particular endorsements; and
with or without conditions.
If the application is refused or the licence given to the applicant is different, in any respect, to the licence applied for, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice about the decision within 30 business days after deciding the application.

(sec.983-ssec.1) If the chief executive is satisfied the application should be granted, or granted in part, the chief executive must grant the application.
(sec.983-ssec.2) If the chief executive is not satisfied the application should be granted, the chief executive must refuse the application.
