### sec.399 Approval of baseline assessment plan
If a baseline assessment plan is given to the chief executive under section 397 , the chief executive must—
approve the plan, with or without conditions; or
ask the holder to amend the plan and submit the amended plan within a stated reasonable period.
The holder must submit the amended plan to the chief executive within the stated reasonable period.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
The chief executive must give notice of the decision to the resource tenure holder within 10 business days after making the decision.
If the chief executive approves the plan, the plan takes effect on the day stated in the notice.
