### sec.1272 Applications about a water licence under unamended Act if required notice has not been published
This section applies if—
a person has, before the commencement, made an application about a water licence; and
there is a requirement to publish a notice in relation to the application and the notice has not been published before the commencement.
Subsection (3) applies if the granting of the application would do 1 or more of the matters listed in section 130.
The application must be dealt with as if it were an application for a new licence under the amended Act.
Subsection (5) applies if the granting of the application does not do any of the matters listed in section 130.
The application must be dealt with as an application for a dealing under the amended Act.

(sec.1272-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person has, before the commencement, made an application about a water licence; and there is a requirement to publish a notice in relation to the application and the notice has not been published before the commencement.
(sec.1272-ssec.2) Subsection (3) applies if the granting of the application would do 1 or more of the matters listed in section 130.
(sec.1272-ssec.3) The application must be dealt with as if it were an application for a new licence under the amended Act.
(sec.1272-ssec.4) Subsection (5) applies if the granting of the application does not do any of the matters listed in section 130.
(sec.1272-ssec.5) The application must be dealt with as an application for a dealing under the amended Act.
- (a) a person has, before the commencement, made an application about a water licence; and
- (b) there is a requirement to publish a notice in relation to the application and the notice has not been published before the commencement.
