### sec.126 Application to relocate water licence
This section applies to a water licence if any of the following allow all or part of the water licence to be relocated under this section—
a regulation;
a water management protocol;
a water plan.
An application may be made to relocate the water licence or the part of the water licence.
For section 122 (2) , the application must be made, assessed and decided under the process prescribed by regulation.
In this section—
prescribed person means—
a person who is, or will be, an owner of land to which a water licence will attach when a transfer under this section is approved; or
a prescribed entity.
relocate , a water licence, means—
if the licence attaches to land—amend the licence, so that all or part of the licence attaches to other land whether in or outside Queensland; or
amend the licence to change the location from which water may be taken under the licence; or
any of the following associated with, and applied for in the same application as, an amendment applied for under paragraph (a) or (b) —
amend the licence to change the purpose for which water may be taken under the licence;
transfer the licence to a prescribed person;
amalgamate the licence with another water licence held or to be held by the transferee.

(sec.126-ssec.1) This section applies to a water licence if any of the following allow all or part of the water licence to be relocated under this section— a regulation; a water management protocol; a water plan.
