### sec.1091 References to former water areas and former water boards In an Act or document, if the context permits— a reference to a former water area may be taken to be a reference to the authority area with the same name established under section 1083(2); and a reference to a former water board may be taken to be a reference to the water authority with the same name established under section 1083(3). - (a) a reference to a former water area may be taken to be a reference to the authority area with the same name established under section 1083(2); and - (b) a reference to a former water board may be taken to be a reference to the water authority with the same name established under section 1083(3).
