### sec.1090 Existing contracts to supply water under repealed GAWB Act
This section applies to a contract—
entered into, under the repealed GAWB Act, between the Gladstone Area Water Board established under that Act and an entity for the supply of water by the board to the entity; and
in force immediately before the commencement of this section.
On the commencement, the contract is taken to have been made under this Act between the Gladstone Area Water Board established under this Act and the entity for the remainder of the contract’s term.
Despite the repeal of the repealed GAWB Act, sections 53 , 54 , 117 and 118 of that Act continue to apply to the parties’ rights and obligations under the contract for the remainder of the contract’s term.
(sec.1090-ssec.1) This section applies to a contract— entered into, under the repealed GAWB Act, between the Gladstone Area Water Board established under that Act and an entity for the supply of water by the board to the entity; and in force immediately before the commencement of this section.
(sec.1090-ssec.2) On the commencement, the contract is taken to have been made under this Act between the Gladstone Area Water Board established under this Act and the entity for the remainder of the contract’s term.
(sec.1090-ssec.3) Despite the repeal of the repealed GAWB Act, sections 53 , 54 , 117 and 118 of that Act continue to apply to the parties’ rights and obligations under the contract for the remainder of the contract’s term.
- (a) entered into, under the repealed GAWB Act, between the Gladstone Area Water Board established under that Act and an entity for the supply of water by the board to the entity; and
- (b) in force immediately before the commencement of this section.
