### sec.99Y Container refund point operator must keep refund declarations The operator of a container refund point must— keep each refund declaration given to the operator for at least 5 years after the declaration was given; and for the proof of identity document mentioned in section 99T (3) (c) that accompanied the declaration— make a copy of the proof of identity document; and keep the copy with the declaration for the period mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and if asked by an authorised person—produce the declaration and copy of the proof of identity document for inspection by the authorised person. Maximum penalty—300 penalty units. (sec.99Y-ssec.2) For this section, a document may be made, kept or produced for inspection— electronically; or by making, keeping or producing for inspection a copy of the document. - (a) keep each refund declaration given to the operator for at least 5 years after the declaration was given; and - (b) for the proof of identity document mentioned in section 99T (3) (c) that accompanied the declaration— (i) make a copy of the proof of identity document; and (ii) keep the copy with the declaration for the period mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and - (i) make a copy of the proof of identity document; and - (ii) keep the copy with the declaration for the period mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and - (c) if asked by an authorised person—produce the declaration and copy of the proof of identity document for inspection by the authorised person. - (i) make a copy of the proof of identity document; and - (ii) keep the copy with the declaration for the period mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and - (a) electronically; or - (b) by making, keeping or producing for inspection a copy of the document.
