### sec.87 When is a product stewardship scheme in force for a product
A product stewardship scheme is in force for a product if—
it is a voluntary product stewardship scheme applying to the product, and the scheme has been accredited by the chief executive under this part; or
it is a regulated product stewardship scheme applying to the product.
A product stewardship scheme mentioned in subsection (1) (a) is an accredited product stewardship scheme .
(sec.87-ssec.1) A product stewardship scheme is in force for a product if— it is a voluntary product stewardship scheme applying to the product, and the scheme has been accredited by the chief executive under this part; or it is a regulated product stewardship scheme applying to the product.
(sec.87-ssec.2) A product stewardship scheme mentioned in subsection (1) (a) is an accredited product stewardship scheme .
- (a) it is a voluntary product stewardship scheme applying to the product, and the scheme has been accredited by the chief executive under this part; or
- (b) it is a regulated product stewardship scheme applying to the product.
