### sec.173V General criteria for deciding application
In deciding the application, the chief executive must consider the following—
the objects of this Act and how they are to be achieved, as stated in chapter 1 , part 2 ;
the waste and resource management hierarchy;
a matter for the decision stated in another provision of this Act;
another matter prescribed by regulation for the decision.
This section does not limit the matters the chief executive may consider in making the decision.

(sec.173V-ssec.1) In deciding the application, the chief executive must consider the following— the objects of this Act and how they are to be achieved, as stated in chapter 1 , part 2 ; the waste and resource management hierarchy; a matter for the decision stated in another provision of this Act; another matter prescribed by regulation for the decision.
(sec.173V-ssec.2) This section does not limit the matters the chief executive may consider in making the decision.
