### sec.173 Publication and notification of amended end of waste code
This section applies if the chief executive amends an end of waste code under section 172 .
The chief executive must—
publish a copy of the amended end of waste code—
on the department’s website; and
in any other way the chief executive considers appropriate; and
notify the amendment of the end of waste code by gazette notice.
The gazette notice must state—
the name of the end of waste code; and
the date the end of waste code was amended; and
where a copy of the amended end of waste code may be inspected.
The amended end of waste code takes effect on the later of the following—
the day the gazette notice is published;
the day stated in the gazette notice;
the day stated in the amended end of waste code.

(sec.173-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive amends an end of waste code under section 172 .
(sec.173-ssec.2) The chief executive must— publish a copy of the amended end of waste code— on the department’s website; and in any other way the chief executive considers appropriate; and notify the amendment of the end of waste code by gazette notice.
(sec.173-ssec.3) The gazette notice must state— the name of the end of waste code; and the date the end of waste code was amended; and where a copy of the amended end of waste code may be inspected.
(sec.173-ssec.4) The amended end of waste code takes effect on the later of the following— the day the gazette notice is published; the day stated in the gazette notice; the day stated in the amended end of waste code.
- (a) publish a copy of the amended end of waste code— (i) on the department’s website; and (ii) in any other way the chief executive considers appropriate; and
