### sec.102X Show cause notice
This section applies if the Minister proposes to—
amend the company’s appointment as the Organisation (the proposed action ); or
suspend or cancel the company’s appointment as the Organisation (also the proposed action ).
If the proposed action is suspension, the proposed action must also include appointing an administrator.
The Minister must give a notice (a show cause notice ) about the proposed action to the company.
The show cause notice must state the following—
the proposed action;
if the proposed action is an amendment—the proposed amendment;
if the proposed action is suspension—the period of the suspension;
the grounds for the proposed action;
the facts and circumstances that form the basis for the grounds;
that the company may, within a stated period (the show cause period ), make a written submission to the Minister about why the proposed action should not be taken.
The show cause period must end at least 28 days after the company is given the show cause notice.
The Minister may ask the chief executive to prepare a report about the submissions made by the company during the show cause period.
