### sec.42 Person may make final request to coordinating practitioner
A person who has made a second request may make a further request to the person’s coordinating practitioner for access to voluntary assisted dying (a final request ).
The final request must be—
clear and unambiguous; and
made by the person and not by another person on their behalf.
The person may make the final request verbally or by gestures or other means of communication available to the person.
