### sec.127 Vacation of office
The office of a member becomes vacant if—
the member—
completes the member’s term of office and is not reappointed; or
resigns from office by signed notice given to the Minister; or
becomes ineligible for appointment under section 124 (3) ; or
the Minister ends the member’s appointment under subsection (2) .
The Minister may, by signed notice given to a member, terminate the member’s appointment if the Minister is satisfied the member is incapable of satisfactorily performing the member’s functions.
(sec.127-ssec.1) The office of a member becomes vacant if— the member— completes the member’s term of office and is not reappointed; or resigns from office by signed notice given to the Minister; or becomes ineligible for appointment under section 124 (3) ; or the Minister ends the member’s appointment under subsection (2) .
(sec.127-ssec.2) The Minister may, by signed notice given to a member, terminate the member’s appointment if the Minister is satisfied the member is incapable of satisfactorily performing the member’s functions.
- (a) the member— (i) completes the member’s term of office and is not reappointed; or (ii) resigns from office by signed notice given to the Minister; or (iii) becomes ineligible for appointment under section 124 (3) ; or
- (i) completes the member’s term of office and is not reappointed; or
- (ii) resigns from office by signed notice given to the Minister; or
- (iii) becomes ineligible for appointment under section 124 (3) ; or
- (b) the Minister ends the member’s appointment under subsection (2) .
- (i) completes the member’s term of office and is not reappointed; or
- (ii) resigns from office by signed notice given to the Minister; or
- (iii) becomes ineligible for appointment under section 124 (3) ; or
