### sec.122 Chairperson
The Minister must appoint a member of the board to be the chairperson of the board.
The chairperson is responsible for leading and directing the activities of the board to ensure the board performs its functions appropriately.
The chairperson holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as chairperson.
A vacancy in the office of chairperson arises if the person holding the office—
resigns office by signed notice given to the Minister; or
ceases to be a member.
A person may be reappointed as chairperson.
(sec.122-ssec.1) The Minister must appoint a member of the board to be the chairperson of the board.
(sec.122-ssec.2) The chairperson is responsible for leading and directing the activities of the board to ensure the board performs its functions appropriately.
(sec.122-ssec.3) The chairperson holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as chairperson.
