### sec.68 Confirming release or discharge date
This section applies if an applicant for assistance is being detained in a corrective services facility under the Corrective Services Act 2006 .
The government assessor may ask the chief executive (corrective services) to confirm the date the applicant will be released or discharged under the Corrective Services Act 2006 .
The chief executive (corrective services) must comply with the request if the chief executive (corrective services) is reasonably satisfied the government assessor reasonably requires the information to decide the application.
The disclosure of information by the chief executive (corrective services) under subsection (3) is authorised despite any other Act or law, including a law imposing an obligation to maintain confidentiality about the information.
