### sec.48 Amount of assistance A related victim of an act of violence may be granted assistance of up to $75,000 less any funeral expense assistance granted to the victim in relation to the act. In addition to the assistance mentioned in subsection (1) , each related victim may be granted assistance of up to $500 for legal costs incurred by the victim in applying for assistance under this Act. s 48 amd 2017 No. 8 s 38 ; 2023 No. 34 s 9 (sec.48-ssec.1) A related victim of an act of violence may be granted assistance of up to $75,000 less any funeral expense assistance granted to the victim in relation to the act.
