### sec.204 Series of related acts of domestic violence that started before commencement
This section applies if a person applies for financial assistance for an act of violence that is a series of related acts of domestic violence to which section 199(3) applies.
The assistance that may be granted to the applicant for expenses is limited to expenses incurred on or after the commencement.
This section does not limit assistance payable to the applicant for an act of violence, within the meaning of previous section 25—
committed before the commencement; and
constituted by an act or omission that forms part of the series of related acts of domestic violence.

(sec.204-ssec.1) This section applies if a person applies for financial assistance for an act of violence that is a series of related acts of domestic violence to which section 199(3) applies.

(sec.204-ssec.3) This section does not limit assistance payable to the applicant for an act of violence, within the meaning of previous section 25— committed before the commencement; and constituted by an act or omission that forms part of the series of related acts of domestic violence.
