### sec.133 Giving information to corresponding scheme managers
The scheme manager may give the following information to a corresponding scheme manager if the corresponding scheme manager asks for it—
whether a stated person has applied for financial assistance under the scheme in relation to an act of violence and, if so, details of—
the act of violence in relation to which the application is made; and
the injury (if any) in relation to which the application is made;
the status of an application for financial assistance under the scheme for a stated act of violence by a stated person, including, if assistance is granted in relation to the act—
the amount of assistance granted; and
the expenses, loss of earnings or other component for which assistance is granted.
The scheme manager may give the information only if the scheme manager is reasonably satisfied the corresponding scheme manager needs the information for deciding the person’s application for assistance under a corresponding scheme.
A person who acquires information, or accesses a document containing information, given under subsection (2) must not do either of the following—
disclose to anyone else—
the information; or
the contents of or information contained in the document;
give access to the document to anyone else.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
Subsection (3) does not apply to the disclosure of information, or the giving of access to a document, about a person—
with the person’s consent; or
in connection with the performance of a function under the law that provides for the corresponding scheme; or
as required or authorised under an Act or law.
In this section—
corresponding scheme means a scheme (however called) under a law of the Commonwealth or another State that provides for the payment of financial assistance (however called) to victims of violence.
corresponding scheme manager means a person who has similar functions to the scheme manager in relation to a corresponding scheme.

- (b) the status of an application for financial assistance under the scheme for a stated act of violence by a stated person, including, if assistance is granted in relation to the act— (i) the amount of assistance granted; and (ii) the expenses, loss of earnings or other component for which assistance is granted.
- (i) the amount of assistance granted; and
- (ii) the expenses, loss of earnings or other component for which assistance is granted.
