### sec.106E Amendment of grant of assistance This section applies if, under section 106D , the scheme manager decides the person has received, or is likely to receive, an uncounted relevant payment. The scheme manager must amend the amount of assistance granted to reduce it to the amount that would have been granted under section 86 if the government assessor had taken the uncounted relevant payment into account when the assistance was granted. If, after the reduction, an amount of assistance remains payable to the person, the scheme manager must decide the component of assistance for which the amount is payable. In making the decision, the scheme manager must have regard to the following— the person’s needs; whether the person has incurred expenses; anything else the scheme manager considers relevant. s 106E ins 2017 No. 8 s 72 (sec.106E-ssec.1) This section applies if, under section 106D , the scheme manager decides the person has received, or is likely to receive, an uncounted relevant payment.
