### sec.26 Conditions of appointment of authorised officers
An authorised officer holds office on the conditions stated in the officer’s instrument of appointment.
An authorised officer—
if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases to hold office at the end of the term; and
may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive.
(sec.26-ssec.1) An authorised officer holds office on the conditions stated in the officer’s instrument of appointment.
