### sec.25 Functions and powers of authorised officers
An authorised officer has the functions of—
conducting investigations and inspections to monitor and enforce compliance with—
this Act; and
a vegetation clearing provision; and
giving stop work notices and restoration notices.
An authorised officer has the powers given under this or another Act.
An authorised officer is subject to the directions of the chief executive in exercising the powers.
The powers of an authorised officer may be limited—
under a regulation; or
under a condition of appointment; or
by notice of the chief executive given to the authorised officer.

(sec.25-ssec.1) An authorised officer has the functions of— conducting investigations and inspections to monitor and enforce compliance with— this Act; and a vegetation clearing provision; and giving stop work notices and restoration notices.
(sec.25-ssec.2) An authorised officer has the powers given under this or another Act.
(sec.25-ssec.3) An authorised officer is subject to the directions of the chief executive in exercising the powers.
(sec.25-ssec.4) The powers of an authorised officer may be limited— under a regulation; or under a condition of appointment; or by notice of the chief executive given to the authorised officer.
- (a) conducting investigations and inspections to monitor and enforce compliance with— (i) this Act; and (ii) a vegetation clearing provision; and
- (i) this Act; and
- (ii) a vegetation clearing provision; and
- (b) giving stop work notices and restoration notices.
