### sec.42 Selection of designated purpose In selecting the designated purpose, the council must prefer a purpose that— is as nearly similar as practicable to the donor’s purpose; and can practically and conveniently be achieved. However, the scheme is not invalid merely because another designated purpose may have been more properly selected under subsection (1) .
