### sec.926 Procedure under div 3 A person applying for punishment of a contempt must file an application specifying the alleged contempt. The application may be filed in the proceeding in which the contempt was committed or to start a new proceeding. The application and any affidavit in support of it must be served on the respondent personally. An affidavit in support of or opposing the application must not contain evidence which the person making it could not give if giving evidence orally.
