### sec.678 Application of ch 17A This chapter applies to costs payable or to be assessed under an Act , these rules or an order of the court. However— part 2 applies to costs payable or to be assessed under the Legal Profession Act 2007 only if section 319 (1) (b) of that Act applies to the costs; and part 3 does not apply to costs payable or to be assessed under the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; and part 4 applies only to costs payable or to be assessed under the Legal Profession Act 2007 . The Legal Profession Act 2007 , section 319 (1) (b) applies to costs that are recoverable under the applicable scale of costs, rather than under a costs agreement. r 678 amd 2002 SL No. 223 s 33 ; 2007 SL No. 156 s 5 sub 2007 SL No. 315 s 10 (sec.678-ssec.1) This chapter applies to costs payable or to be assessed under an Act , these rules or an order of the court.
