### sec.87 Vesting orders etc. in relation to infant’s beneficial interests
Where an infant is beneficially entitled to any property of which there is no trustee, the court, where it considers it necessary or desirable in the interest of the infant or of the infant and some other person, may on the application of a guardian or next friend of the infant make an order—
appointing the guardian of the infant, or some other fit and proper person, to sell and convey, lease, mortgage or charge the property, or otherwise to exercise such of the powers as are conferred by or under this Act on a trustee, as the court may in the order specify; or
in the case of stock or a thing in action—vesting in the guardian of the infant, or some other fit and proper person, the right to transfer or call for a transfer of that stock, or to receive the dividends or income thereof, or to sue for and recover that thing in action, upon such terms as the court thinks fit.
An act done in accordance with this section shall be as effectual and binding as if the infant had been a person of full age and mental capacity and had himself or herself done that act.
