### sec.77AB Confirming Queensland driver licence is valid This section applies if a person (the enquirer ) gives the chief executive, by electronic communication, all of the following items of information about a Queensland driver licence (the identifying information )— the name and date of birth of the person in whose name the licence is issued; the number of the licence; any other information prescribed by a regulation. If all of the items of identifying information match the information held by the department for the licence, the chief executive may, by electronic communication, confirm this with the enquirer and advise whether the licence is valid. If some of the items of identifying information do not match the information held by the department for the licence, the chief executive may, by electronic communication, advise the enquirer of this but must not advise which of the items do not match.
