### sec.77AAA Chief executive may advise registered operator of offences committed in registered operator’s vehicle
Subsection (2) applies if—
a person (the offender ) does something in a motor vehicle that is a contravention that forms part of the offender’s traffic history; and
the offender is not a registered operator of the motor vehicle.
The chief executive may by electronic communication notify the registered operator of the following—
the name of the offender;
a description of the offender’s contravention;
the time, date and location of the contravention.
The reference in subsection (2) to the registered operator is a reference to—
if there is only 1 registered operator of the vehicle—the registered operator; or
if there is more than 1 registered operator of the vehicle—the registered operator mentioned first on the vehicle’s registration certificate.

(sec.77AAA-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if— a person (the offender ) does something in a motor vehicle that is a contravention that forms part of the offender’s traffic history; and the offender is not a registered operator of the motor vehicle.
