### sec.67F Special event approvals
An approval by the chief executive under section 67E (1) (a special event approval ) may—
be given on the chief executive’s own initiative; and
be given for a specific scheduled passenger service to or from a special event or generally for a stated type of scheduled passenger service to or from a special event.
A special event approval is sufficiently given if the chief executive publishes the approval on the department’s website or in a newspaper circulating—
if a special event the subject of the approval is to be carried out in the integrated mass transit area—in the integrated mass transit area; or
otherwise—in the non-integrated mass transit area.
The chief executive may impose conditions on the giving of a special event approval.
The conditions may include a requirement that, before the special event approval applies to a person, the person must pay the chief executive a contribution to the chief executive’s costs of coordinating the relevant scheduled passenger services.
