### sec.40 Service contracts to include minimum service levels
A service contract must state minimum service levels to be complied with by the holder.
Minimum service levels for a particular public passenger service must specify—
the periods when the public passenger service is to be provided; and
the nature, frequency and extent of the public passenger service during the periods or particular parts of the periods.
Minimum service levels must have regard to—
the needs of the community for whose benefit the service is provided; and
service levels in comparable communities, whether in Queensland, elsewhere in Australia or in a foreign country; and
the cost of service provision.

(sec.40-ssec.1) A service contract must state minimum service levels to be complied with by the holder.
(sec.40-ssec.2) Minimum service levels for a particular public passenger service must specify— the periods when the public passenger service is to be provided; and the nature, frequency and extent of the public passenger service during the periods or particular parts of the periods.
