### sec.183GB Recovery by State of expenses of taking authorised action
This section applies if the prescribed applicant incurs expense, whether the expense is the prescribed applicant’s expense or the State’s expense, in taking the authorised action.
The State may recover the amount of the expense, as a debt, from the persons liable for the expense.
If, under subsection (2) , more than 1 person is liable for the same expense, the persons who are liable for the expense are jointly and severally liable.

(sec.183GB-ssec.1) This section applies if the prescribed applicant incurs expense, whether the expense is the prescribed applicant’s expense or the State’s expense, in taking the authorised action.
