### sec.98 Liability for image processing fee and administration charge in addition to unpaid toll
If this division applies to a driver, the driver immediately becomes liable to pay the toll road operator, in addition to the unpaid toll, the amount of—
the image processing fee for the toll; and
an administration charge.
However, the driver is not liable under subsection (1) to pay the amount of the image processing fee or administration charge if the toll is unpaid because—
the driver’s transponder or other electronic device is faulty through no fault of the driver and the driver is unaware it is faulty; or
the E toll system is faulty or otherwise inoperable.

(sec.98-ssec.1) If this division applies to a driver, the driver immediately becomes liable to pay the toll road operator, in addition to the unpaid toll, the amount of— the image processing fee for the toll; and an administration charge.
(sec.98-ssec.2) However, the driver is not liable under subsection (1) to pay the amount of the image processing fee or administration charge if the toll is unpaid because— the driver’s transponder or other electronic device is faulty through no fault of the driver and the driver is unaware it is faulty; or the E toll system is faulty or otherwise inoperable.
