### sec.589 Existing approvals for ancillary works and encroachments
This section applies to an approval given under former section 50 if, immediately before the commencement, the approval was in force.
The approval continues in force as if it had been given under section 50.
The approval continues to be subject to the conditions to which the approval was subject immediately before the commencement.
