### sec.475W Dealing with forfeited sample or thing
On forfeiture of a sample or thing to the State, it becomes the State’s property and may be dealt with by the chief executive or the Gold Coast Waterways Authority in a way the chief executive or the Gold Coast Waterways Authority reasonably believes is appropriate.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the chief executive or the Gold Coast Waterways Authority may destroy or dispose of the sample or thing.

(sec.475W-ssec.1) On forfeiture of a sample or thing to the State, it becomes the State’s property and may be dealt with by the chief executive or the Gold Coast Waterways Authority in a way the chief executive or the Gold Coast Waterways Authority reasonably believes is appropriate.
