### sec.338 Considering application for authorisation
The chief executive must promptly consider an application for authorisation as an authorised busway user and decide to grant, or refuse to grant, the authorisation.
If the chief executive decides to grant the authorisation, the chief executive must promptly give the applicant a written notice stating—
the decision; and
the details of the authorisation, including its scope; and
if the authorisation is subject to a condition—
the details of the condition; and
the reason for the condition.
If the chief executive decides not to grant the authorisation, the chief executive must promptly give the applicant a written notice stating—
the decision; and
the reason for the decision.
A notice under subsection (2) or (3) must be accompanied by an information notice.
