### sec.32 Cost sharing arrangements The chief executive may arrange with another person (including a local government and a State government body) for the sharing by the chief executive with the other person of the cost of— acquisition of land for transport infrastructure; or road works on a State-controlled road; or other works that contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the road network; or the operation of a State-controlled road; including all necessary preliminary costs associated with the acquisition, works or operation. - (a) acquisition of land for transport infrastructure; or - (b) road works on a State-controlled road; or - (c) other works that contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the road network; or - (d) the operation of a State-controlled road;
