### sec.49 Notifications published in industrial gazette This section applies if, before the commencement, a notification was published in the industrial gazette as required or permitted by a provision of this Act ( relevant provision ) as in force before the commencement. Despite the amendment of the relevant provision by the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2009 , after the commencement— the notification continues to have been published for the relevant provision; and section 46 , as in force immediately before the commencement, continues to apply to a copy of, or a document purporting to be an extract from, the industrial gazette.
